Porsche Boxster 986 S

Four years after the introduction of the Boxster with its 2.5 liter water-cooled M96 engine, the new Boxster S variant was introduced with a larger 3.2 liter engine. A minor engine redesign in 2000 resolved early Boxster engine failures due to cracked or slipping cylinder liners.
